School Fundraising

Your school community coming together to help homeless youth

You and your school can make a huge difference in the lives of homeless and at-risk youth by helping us provide them with love, hope and guidance, and by teaching them life skills and offering compassionate support.

Funds raised through your school event, will be used to help to meet the immediate needs of youth experiencing homelessness by providing them with food, clothing, a warm bed, and so much more.

Ways to get involved:

  • Sleep Out: Student Edition

Sleep Out is a great way to show secondary students a glimpse of what life would be like if they experienced homelessness, by sleeping out for one night without the comforts of home.
Host a Sleep Out and we’ll provide you with a personalized online fundraising page, a virtual presentation about Covenant House programs, an event planning guide, and ongoing support.

Students who participate will also receive 12 hours of community service which can be applied to their graduation requirements.

  • Casual/Pajama Day

Simply choose a date to host your Casual/Pajama Day and we’ll supply the stickers and posters. We can give a virtual presentation about the programs Covenant House offers and create a fundraising page on our website so that school communities can make their donations virtually rather than bringing donations to school.

On the day of the event, students can wear their stickers and dress casual to show their support for homeless youth.
