RBC has been a proud supporter of Covenant House Vancouver, since 1999. That’s 25 years of supporting vulnerable youth in the community!
Through the RBC Foundation, we recently received a generous grant of $50,000 towards Covenant House Vancouver’s mental health services that support our Registered Clinical Counsellors, across all programs.
In addition to grant support, RBC is actively involved in our fundraising initiatives, such as Sleep Out: Executive Edition and Sleep Out: Champions Edition .
Last year, Covenant House Vancouver was a recipient of funds raised at the Vancouver Canadians game, through RBC’s We Care Wednesdays. The invitation to participate not only provided us with a platform to showcase our work, but also demonstrated RBC’s dedication to amplifying the voices of local charities, like ours. RBC’s belief in our work to support young people who are facing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless is truly inspiring.
RBC has also made the holiday season festive for youth, by decorating the dining hall with lights, table runners, and a tree.
With the support from RBC and the RBC Foundation, we have been able to remove barriers to quality mental health care and provide innovative therapies to meet the complex needs of at-risk and homeless youth. Through their ongoing support of our initiatives and involvement with our work, we are able to help youth realize their potential and work towards the futures that they deserve.
Thank you, RBC and the RBC Foundation!
