One Night, Big Impact: Covenant House Vancouver Sleep Out

Every year, Covenant House Vancouver’s Sleep Out brings together an amazing and deeply caring group of people, who give up the comfort of their beds for one night to sleep outside in solidarity with homeless youth.

This meaningful act not only raises critical funds for Covenant House, but also sends a powerful message to the youth we serve:  they are seen, valued and supported.

In addition to the physical act of sleeping out, this powerful event includes educational sessions about Covenant House and its work, plus a youth panel where Sleep Out participants get to hear directly from young people who have accessed our services.

We asked three recent Sleep Out participants to share their experiences and insights about the experience. Their messages speak to the heart of why Sleep Out is so powerful and so needed. And why you should consider joining us for the next Sleep Out on February 20, 2025!
