This summer, The Home Depot Canada Foundation stopped by Covenant House Vancouver’s newly renovated building that houses the Rights of Passage program, with a group of their suppliers, to learn more about CHV’s programs and to celebrate the Foundation’s 2024 donation of $200,000.
The Home Depot Canada Foundation has supported CHV’s Rights of Passage program since 2010 and has cumulatively donated more than $2.4 million to support our work. We are proud to be one of the Foundation’s Strategic Partners and to receive support from The Home Depot stores locally, through the Orange Door Campaign.
By engaging a network of generous partners and supporters, including The Home Depot Canada’s associates, suppliers, customers, and community partners, The Home Depot Canada Foundation works tirelessly to improve housing options, life skills development, and employment programs for vulnerable youth, while investing in research initiatives that help identify the most effective solutions to youth homelessness.
The Home Depot Canada Foundation is committed to preventing and ending youth homelessness in Canada. Through community partnerships, the Foundation aims to break down the systemic barriers that youth face to help them achieve healthy pathways out of homelessness. By 2030, The Home Depot Canada Foundation will invest $125 million across Canada to create new paths for youth at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness.
Covenant House is so grateful to The Home Depot Canada Foundation for their incredible support. Thank you!
