Eldorado Gold has been a generous supporter of Covenant House Vancouver since 2013 and have been champions of our Sleep Out Movement.
President and CEO, George Burns, first participated in Sleep Out in 2019. This year Simon Hille, their Senior Vice President of Technical Services joined us for our recent Sleep Out: Executive Edition.
This was Simon’s first year participating and he registered with just over two weeks to fundraise and did he ever rise to the challenge. Simon raised an incredible $42,250 in just two weeks and was the 7th highest fundraiser at the event! Eldorado Gold matched all their employees’ contributions to Sleep Out: Executive Edition donating $15,000.
