One of the things that we’ve heard a lot from the front-line staff here at Covenant House Vancouver lately is this: That not a day goes by where they aren’t encouraged or inspired by the young people that call Covenant House their home. And we understand what they mean.
Our front-line workers are here to show absolute respect and relentless support to young people. But it’s often the amazing resilience, bravery, and joy that these young people possess that ultimately leaves its mark. It’s contagious, and it rubs off on our Covenant House staff, too.
And we carry this sense of joy and hope as we look forward to the upcoming months – to the possibility of having community dinners, group activities, and more face-to-face interactions once again.
Your chance to double your impact through our Spring Match Campaign
There are only 14 days left in our Spring Match Campaign. Any gift you make between now and June 30th is eligible, allowing you the opportunity to have double the impact to help young people overcome homelessness.
This Match Campaign is only possible thanks to a $70,000 matching gift from the estates of Dr. Terry Grise & Mr. Lorne Carney, and a generous anonymous donor. In fact, the anonymous donor has now offered an additional $25,000 in matching funds, raising the total to $95,000.
We need your help to unlock the full matching donation by June 30th. We’re so close to getting there, and your donation today will be critical in securing those additional funds!
