Celebrating Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe

On December 12th staff and youth learned about and celebrated Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe. This is a special feast day celebrated annually in Mexico which honors Our Lady of Guadalupe.

To celebrate we made some tortillas with guacamole, horchata which is a sweeten rice milk and atole which is a hot drink made from corn.

The youth loved trying new foods and learning about Día de la Virgen de Guadalupe.
