The Vancouver Whitecaps FC have been a strong supporter of Covenant House Vancouver for many years. We are so grateful to them for choosing us as the recipient for their 50/50 Program. The funds raised from the online 50/50 Program go directly towards supporting homeless and at-risk youth.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from Whitecaps FC and their dedicated fans,” said Allison Briggs, development officer of community giving for Covenant House Vancouver. “The funding we receive from the 50/50 program is critical right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will ensure some of our most vulnerable young people’s immediate needs are met; having a warm bed, nutritious food, access to counselling and so much more.”
Jayme Manhas was the winner of the 50/50 raffle for the July 15th match that featured Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs San Jose Earthquakes FC. The jackpot was $4,020 and Jayme won $2,010!
