Covenant House Vancouver has partnered with Lyft so that your small donations can help make a positive change for youth experiencing homelessness. When you ride with Lyft you can round up your payments to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to Covenant House Vancouver. Also Lyft is donating $5.00 per ride for the first 10,000 riders in BC to Covenant House Vancouver.
We are dedicated to providing homeless and at-risk youth with the care and guidance they need to become healthy adults, and a partnership with Lyft will help connect the youth at Covenant House with a larger community of support.
Access to transportation is hugely important for Covenant House Vancouver. In addition to the young people who live with us, we support youth who are located throughout the Lower Mainland, and it is crucial for frontline staff to have a means of connecting with youth wherever they are.
Many young people need to travel to different parts of the city to get to appointments or look for housing, and support from Lyft will give youth a safe, reliable transportation option.
