Recently we had such a beautiful outing with a group of young men from our Crisis Program. The Aquatic Center was closed but they cheerfully decided to walk all the way to English Bay for a sunset swim. It was quite a walk as we took a longer route but everybody had so much to say about the city and about what they hope to do in the future. I learned quite a bit about starfishes, anemones and Pokémons! The young men were so polite, funny and had so much fun swimming and going on the big slide in English Bay.
I felt extremely grateful and so happy I had this opportunity to accompany them on this outing and to chat with them for over two hours.
