It is important that we do our best to create a space that is welcoming, safe, and celebratory of all of our youth and their identities at Covenant House Vancouver.
Once a month, our Drop-In Centre hosts an LGBTQ2S+ night and recently they held a mural painting and pizza party. It was a fun, playful and messy night filled with painting, laughs and great food. We are about to move to a new building so it was also a way for our young people to celebrate and say goodbye to their space.
