Throughout the year, we receive hundreds of pounds of donated clothing, linens and toiletries from our community. We rely on the generosity of volunteer groups to help us sort through all of these gifts and prepare them for distribution to our young people.
Last week, volunteers from Change Healthcare came in to help us with this important work. They got down and dirty lifting, sorting, hanging, folding and organizing hundreds of articles of clothing and hundreds of bottles toiletries. Not necessarily a “fun” task, but one that has a life-changing impact in the lives of disadvantaged young people.
