Youth from our Rights of Passage program got the chance to visit the Vancouver SPCA and they had a wonderful time. They were surprised at how few animals were at the shelter (two dogs, two cats, and a few birds, bunnies, and rats) but that didn’t make the experience any less enjoyable. The young people who went LOVE animals and they were thrilled to get to spend some time with some adorable and furry friends. The youth who attended the outing were actually happy that there weren’t many animals at the animal shelter because that means animals are quickly finding their way into loving homes.
Big thanks to the Vancouver SPCA for this unique outing!
