False Creek Elementary School created a donation page in memory of their dear friend, Angela Haggerty, who recently passed away from cancer. Angela’s philosophy in life was to connect with all walks of people in meaningful ways. All of her various career paths involved helping people be their best, wherever they were at. Covenant House Vancouver held a special place in her heart, and Angela had expressed a desire that in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to help teenage youth on the verge of homelessness, find their footing again.
The students at False Creek Elementary School held a bake sale to help raise funds. Big thank you to False Creek Elementary School for their support and for honouring their friend in a very special way.
