People often think about doing something for people who are homeless during the winter, however, summer presents another set of challenges as temperatures increase. The needs of Vancouver’s homeless youth population are just as great in the summer. Some of the health risks our youth face are dehydration, sun burn, heat stroke, general exhaustion, and athlete’s foot. By contributing to our Beat the Heat Campaign you can help make the summer a bit more enjoyable for our youth.
This summer, homeless youth will receive a care package full of summer clothing and necessities. Please help us make the summer safer for our youth!
Ways to help:
1. Contribute to our costs
It costs $150 to create a care package. Help us purchase one whole care package for a youth in need. Donate Here.
