HSBC Selects Covenant House Vancouver To Receive $61,650!

Covenant House Vancouver is the proud recipient of over $61,650 (£40,000) from the HSBC Group.  The HSBC Group has selected 6 charities from around the world to receive this gift in lieu of sending corporate Christmas cards and Covenant House is the only charity from North America to have been selected.

“Covenant House Vancouver is proud to be the charity in North America selected to receive this generous gift from the HSBC Group.  Being privately funded, Covenant House relies on the support of over 50,000 individuals, corporations and foundations to provide food, shelter, clothing and counselling to over 1,700 young people each year.  Our heartfelt thanks go out to HSBC for this wonderful Christmas gift” said Krista Thompson, Executive Director.

“We are very pleased that Covenant House was selected to receive this donation from the HSBC Group,” said Lindsay Gordon, President and CEO, HSBC Bank Canada. “At HSBC, we believe in supporting the communities where we operate and Covenant House makes a big difference in the lives of vulnerable youth in Vancouver.”
