If you don’t have a Will, you’re not alone. According to a 2010 report for BC Notaries, just 49 per cent of British Columbians have a signed, legally valid and up-to-date Will.

How is the Canadian Foster Care System Doing?

CBC recently featured a story on Canada’s foster care system and the experts interviewed believe it to be a system in crisis. See the story here as well as people’s reactions and experiences with the foster care system here.

Many of the young people who come to CHV have been in the foster care system so we are always interested in stories like what the CBC has produced.

Do you have experience in the foster care system?  What do you think of the CBC reports?

Peter Dudding, executive director of the Child Welfare League of Canada,
is among experts who warn of a deepening foster-care crisis across the country.
